Private William Gibson, Border Regiment, son of Mr and Mrs Thomas Gibson, Scott Gate, Braithwaite, is in Wandsworth Hospital having undergone three operations for shrapnel wounds at Boulogne. He was wounded on 21st October. he is the nephew of Mrs Coulston, Burrowgate, Penrith.
